I flew down/over to the Copperstate Fly-In at Casa Grande, AZ this weekend (Oct 24-26, 2008). The round trip was about 660 miles and is over some very beautiful country - God did some really awesome work in this area!! I took following photos early in the morning between Los Lunas, NM and Show Low, AZ. Just after Show Low, the country becomes VERY rough/spectacular. However; my camera's power supply pooped out and that was the end of the photo session. Sorry about that.

I went to the awards banquet for the food so was VERY surprised when I won the award for "Best Alternative Power" and "Furthest Distance Flown Alternative Power"!! Very neat! I hadn't considered that someone might actually look at my work in this fashion. Now I am certainly motivated to clean things up and make it look pretty and/or professional!!
