Prop Hub
The ring gear is now finished and the entire unit has been installed on the engine. The crankshaft bolts will be safety wired. The adapter bolts are temporary and will be replaced with the correct size bolt.

The hub uses an SAE #1 pattern. This is a centering lug bore of 2.255", bolt circle diameter of 4.375", bolt hole diameter of .375" (3/8"), and six bolts.

Notice that instead of tapping the adapter bolts into the aluminum crankshaft adapter I have elected to run through bolts.  I feel much better about this than relying on threaded aluminum in such a potentially high stress part. The bolts are AN7 and run through the crankshaft adapter, flywheel, and prop hub end.

The ring gear/flywheel is from a 1991 Toyota Camry with a V6 and automatic transmission. It has a 12" outside diameter and the proper tooth pattern/size to work with the Dodge Colt starter.
