September 6, 2009200 hours now on the
Real World Solutions EC2 EFI controller. It is still performing flawlessly. I've not yet recieved the EM3 engine monitor so nothing to report there.
January 1, 2009Another update: 130 hours on the
Real World Solutions EC2 EFI controller now. I still love it and have ordered the EM2 engine monitor to go with it. This won't be installed for at least six months so don't expect an update anytime soon! ;-)
August 17, 200880 hours now and the
Real World Solutions EC2 EFI controller is still working perfectly.
May 3, 2008Now have flown 52 hours with the
Real World Solutions EC2 EFI controller and it continues to work flawlessly. Love it!!!
October 26, 2007The RWS EC2 continues to function flawlessly. I have flown about 25 hours since installation and am as pleased as can be. It took me a while to get comfortable changing settings in flight for fear of a hiccup (or worse). That fear has passed with experience, the EC2 takes the changes and the engine continues to run perfectly. The programming changes (mixture or timing) are very easy to perform in flight while continuing to fly the airplane and watch for traffic.
August 20, 2007I am now flying with a
Real World Solutions (RWS)
EC2 Fuel Injection and Ignition controller. I am quite impressed with the unit and most certainly recommend it to others. I have found the tunability to be fabulous.
I have used the stock EJ-22 fuel rail, injectors, crank sensor and cam sensor and aftermarket D580 (LS1) coils.
The high-pressure fuel pumps are from a 1992 Subaru Loyale.
