Q2 Details

The Q2 is an all composite canard aircraft. It was designed in the late 1970's and sold as a kit thru the early 1980's by Quickie Aircraft Corporation (QAC). The design is very fuel efficient and offers very good performance on 80-100hp engines. The Q200 is basically a Q2 with a Continental O-200 engine and LS1 canard airfoil (using a tubular carbon fiber spar). The Q2 uses a GU canard of basically the same dimensions but utilizing a different airfoil and method of construction.
